Armendola
The Armendola Sarcophagus is from the 2nd Century A.D., and it depicts a battle between the Romans and the Gauls. It was found in 1829 in a heap of rubble and mud along the Appian Way.
Really breath taking. Amazing detail and craftsmanship.
