Heid . . . probably
I've seem more attributions of this picture to Heid, so I'm going with that.
This is another "classic" pose I've seen before. The male carries it off well, he's good looking, and has a nice body. Something about the lighting is interesting, but I can't put my finger on it.
The right side of the image is brighter than the left without throwing the left into complete shadow. That was not easy to do with the lighting technology of the time, and it results in a subtle degree of contrast.
The lighting is excellent considering the date. His chest hair and veins in his right foot, also well resolved. A truly lovely pose, he knew what he was doing.
