Looking
Mr. Scumbeast said this guy was looking for his bar
The position of the leg straps and the banding on the waist band would indicate the traditional Bike strap. As usual, Mr Scumbeast was doubtless correct.
Although Scummy was a big cowboy movie fan, he needed help when it came to naming cowboy kit less common than a rope and saddle. When it came to locker room provenance, however, he was spot on.
I've never considered it that way! I've been an athlete over 50 years, hence my screen name. And because of my doctor recommending that I wear an athletic supporter for underclothing (decades and decades ago), I've gone through many over the years. I'm probably not as smart as Calorman when it comes to this subject.

ReplyDeleteThe stripes mostly match older Mueller or Wilson athletic supporters.
You know your jocks, but then it's in your screen name, so no surprise.

DeleteThat makes more sense, and while you might not know as much as Calorman on the subject, I'm sure you know more than 95% of us after all this time.
