He apparently had an interesting life -

    1. I just checked out his obit on the Deseret website. Very interesting life including two missions for the Church of Latter Day Saints.

    2. OK, the obit does mention modeling, but I have to wonder if the LDS elders knew about the nude work he did for Dave Martin and Bob Delmonteque. An interesting life indeed!

    3. I found his grave marker on Find a Grave. I tried to post here but couldn't figure out how to do it. It includes one of his beefcake photos.

    4. Randy, this format does not allow photos to be posted in comments. (I wish it did.) You can't even put a hot link in, but you can put the link into a comment as plain text, and viewers can cut and paste it into their browsers. I know how to navigate findagrave.com so I am posting the link here: https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/122603/john-michael-sill
Once on Mike's memorial page, click on the photo for a larger version. Thanks for finding this, Randy!

  3. There were lots of mormon boys who posed nude for the sodomites in California. Reed Phippen was another Utah bodybuilder who was supposed to have been kicked out of Cuba in the middle of his "mission" because of the revolution. From what I've read, they were open about their posing nude as a part of their time as bodybuilders.

    1. The Mormon missionaries we see around here aren't at all attractive, but I suppose that's a matter of taste.
