Delmonteque
Bob Delmonteque took this photo of Mike doing a competition flex in front of a
stone wall. The photographer described Mike as being "proud to show off his
fine body for my camera, despite his deep religious convictions."
Wow, that slightly off set pose with shadows certainly animates Mike abdominal area. That upwards angle of view nicely sets off Mike's proportionate penis and testicles. A stunning image.
Hypothetically one should see no contradiction. The sin was disobeying God and learning shame (and arguably morality itself, yeah basically Genesis is Rousseau, thousands of years before the man himself was born) in the process.
I'm surprised some of the models of the time, who posed fully nude, were Mormon. (not to mention some other religions) Considering how conservative Mormon's can be. The elders must have known, in the Mormon church they have a habit of snitching on each other when someone does something they disapprove of. (have a relative that's Mormon) What's your take? :)
I like the shadow play in his body.
ReplyDeleteAlthough he had his moments, we don't always get that in Delmonteque's photography.

ReplyDeleteI have very little experience with Mormons, but I've read that these models were active in the church and well liked.
