Brian and Lyle
These guys from 1979 are Brian Ridley and Lyle Heeter, and I don't know if this
was a portrait sitting or if they were models. Could have been both, I suppose.
I call this one "Bruce Wayne and Dick Grayson Before the Annual Gotham Halloween Gala." Seriously, this is a dynamite series, Jerry. Now, I am beginning to understand why so many people revere Mapplethorpe.
I have to admit that I started researching this series because of the historical importance of Mr. Mapplethorpe's work, and I didn't like what little of his work I had bothered to see before. Now, I have a deep appreciation for it.
