Day of the Derriere - Early 20th Century Strongmen
Today we're going to take a rear view of some early 20th Century strong men,
several of whom also doubled as wrestlers. We start with Jenzen Korla.
Not all of them had that look, but enough for it to be noticeable. The socks are odd. I was once told by a university photo historian that some men kept their socks on when posing nude as a nod to modesty.

Interesting the way so many of these had the classic squat weight lifter physique. As ever, best appreciated nude. Cold floor?
