Bubble Muscle

Our last Herb Ritts photograph of the set is Bubble Muscle from 1987.  Although I get
a faint whiff of steroids from the model's thighs, it's still a work of art.

  1. The male's tan is wonderfully contrasted against the white background. I really like these shots!

  2. Jerry, you have broadened my world and I suspect many others that follow your posts since you made the expansive changes, not sure how long ago. My daily visits to your blog are one of the highlights of my day. Thank you so very much!

    1. I agree and wonder how many tries it took to get this shot.

  4. You are right about the steroid use in this model. From what I remember, he was ambivalent about using bodybuilding types in his work. He had his pick of well built fashion models.

    1. While I admire the photo greatly, a more natural male body would have been even better.

    2. Agree that would go more with the rest of the photo. The over worked legs kind of contrast and stick out.
      Still amazing.
