The Hunter

The Romans didn't just memorialize their heroes, gods, and leaders in sculpture.
This is "The Hunter" from the Third Century, and it shows a man proudly
displaying a hare he killed for his dinner.  Italians remain fond of eating hare,
and having tried it myself, I can see why.

  1. Eating hare makes me think of a scene from Roger and Me. Something’s about rabbits for pets or eating.
Classic piece/ pieces. The three pieces seem quite different but of the same time.

    1. "Pets or meat." One of my favorite lines from a movie ever.
