Sarcophagus
The life of Achilles is said to be the subject of the frieze on the Monte del Grano Sarcophagus from the Third Century. They seem to show everything but the famous arrow hit. Maybe that's on the back.
Amazing detail. Incredible. Captures so much. Great photo. Your point about the arrow hit makes me wonder if the museum ever considered people wanting to see the sides and back.
Thanks for the compliment on my photography! I was able to see the sides reasonably well and got a peek at the back. While they definitely put the best side forward, a 360 view would be nice.
