Ginsberg and Orlovsky
Richard Avedon took this photo of poet Allen Ginsbert and Peter Orlovsky in 1963.
It was quite provocative for the time, and I wonder if he had to wait to exhibit it.
His photography makes it seem more modern than 1963. Amazing contrast and composition.
