Vic Seipke
I recently came across this reclining shot of Vic Seipke and his pompadour.
Entièrement nu, audacieux pour l’époque, tant pour Juleff que pour Seipke. Juleff was fortunate to have such handsome men as willing modèles, given the homophobic atmosphère and attitudes of that time. One wonders how Juleff approached such men to pose full nude without being threatened with harm.
It's really quite simple. Mr. Juleff's talent was widely recognized by bodybuilders in Detroit and surrounding areas. He produced outstanding promotional photos for them that were legal and highly sought after for publication. Some, but by no means all, of the models agreed to pose nude. Whether that was out of gratitude or because they were paid, I don't know. Several of his models were harrassed after the infamous police raid, but that had not been the case previously. Fortunately, it only happened a few times elsewhere.
Stunning!
ReplyDeletehe truly is stunning, from. his pompadour to his penis. 🏆

DeleteMr. Seipke simply does not take a bad shot. And his gear is as inspirational as his build.
