New Years Eve

It's time for our annual New Years Eve party series,
and we start with my favorite Stooge, Curly.

Pool Party?

Here we have a fellow who's about to serve up some poolside drinks.

Waiting on a Call

This guy decided to start the party alone while waiting for that phone call.

Party Glasses

An enterprising internet merchant is offering this attractive set of glasses for your next party.
They even advertise the men's images as being vintage without identifying them.
I think I've seen photos of at least three of the four at one time or another.

Chug-a-Lug

One guy is getting ready to play a record while the other is chug-a-lugging something.
From the look on the music man's face, it's probably alcoholic.

Barry Hostetler

Barry Hostetler seems to have just about finished off that bottle of wine.
Perhaps he's ready to move on to some other activity.  From Playgirl.

West Palm Beach

This is supposed to be West Palm Beach bar celebration from the 1970s.
The leather community seems well represented.

Sunglasses

Our concluding party guy is celebrating on a deck chair while wearing sunglasses.
Maybe he took a Holiday cruise.  You can interpret that any way you want.

San Francisco

I think this one is from San Francisco in the 70s.

Happy Partiers

It's easy to tell that these guys are having a good time.

New Years Eve, the Movie - 1929

This is a scene from the 1929 movie New Years Eve
where the party turned into a murder mystery.

Strip poker?

This was in a group of party photos, but it looks like a game
of strip poker where everybody lost . . . intentionally.

1900

It's 1900 here, and note the empty liquor bottles on the floor.

A pitcher too far

This is what happens when things go a bit too far.

1962

The Tonight Show, 1962.

Wild crowd

Quite the party going on here.

Well Dressed Couple

Closing out the New Years Eve set with a very well dressed couple.
