Billiards Day

It's time to go to the pool hall for today's set, and we start with a guy who has one of those triangular upper bodies.  I am certain, however, that it's some other feature most of you are looking at.

Well built

This one is nicely built, and I'm not talking about the table.

Nudist I

This is the first of two pictures in today's series
that were made in nudist resort recreation rooms.

Pub

The wood paneling, pint glass, and richly upholstered billiards table tell us that this is probably a British pub where a bunch of celebrating rugby players doffed their clothes to shoot pool.

Gold Coast

The Leather Archives & Museum watermark tells us that this is almost certainly from a memorable photo shot done inside the iconic Gold Coast bar in Chicago.  Used by permission.

Troy Ryan

This it Troy Ryan from one of those long defunct late 1960s magazines.

Mmmmmm . . .

The pool hall in my home town was never like this.

More Gold Coast?

This looks like another picture from the Gold Coast bar in Chicago.
In fact, the guy on the table looks like a Kris model.

Nudist II

This is another nudist recreation room photo, and it looks
like a different location from the other in today's series.

Stan Smith

Our last pool player is a somewhat befuddled looking Stan Smith from 1968.

Billiards Day

We visit a variety of billiards venues today.
This guy looks serious about his game.

Not regulation

Although I don't have an attribution for this photo or non-regulation play,
I'm pretty sure it was made at the Gold Coast bar in Chicago.

Ray

This is Ray Fuller from a 1970-ish now defunct magazine.

Sideburns

This fellow with sideburns looks like he was used to being in a pool hall.

Pony?

The childish pony on the wall in this picture makes me think it had to be shot at a home.
No self-respecting pool hall would have a little girls' pony decoration.

Billiards

We're off the the pool table for our fun today, starting with this handsome tattooed model.

Trollops enjoying a game of pool.

I can't tell if he's more worried about how his shot works out or whether his picture looks good.

What do I do next?

That seems to be an oddly ornate pool table.
