Unknown Photographer

I couldn't do a series on models named Tom without including Tom De Carlo.  I'm using this unattributed photo for two reasons.  First, I'm hoping someone knows the photographer,

and second, it's one of only a few photos of him that I haven't already posted.

Physique Week Day 1 - Favorite Models I

This is Physique Week, and day one features photos of ten of my favorite models that I haven't posted in the past.  We start with Tom De Carlo in a photo for which I have no photographer listed.

I get the feeling that this image of Tom De Carlo and the one that follows might be slides.

Tom De Carlo posed for a number of photographers (click on his tag to see more) including Richard Fontaine under the Apollo marque.  I really like this color derriere shot.  It was tempting to enhance the color saturation and contrast, but I somehow managed to resist the urge.

 

Tom De Carlo Day, Part 2

Starting off the non-nude portion of Tom De Carlo day with this 

posing strap photo by an unknown (to me anyway) photographer.

Tom De Carlo has a beaming smile in this unattributed photo.

Lon of New York was known to have worked with all three of these models, so I'm inclined to think he took this.  The three of them did, however, all work with other photographers.

Tom De Carlo appears here without his usual thick mat of chest hair.

The spots and finishing imperfections in this photo make me think of John Barrington, and that may not be too far fetched.  Barrington did photograph Steve Wengryn who appeared together with Tom De Carlo in the preceding picture.  On the other hand, I don't recall seeing any Barrington color work.

Tom De Carlo Day, Part 1 - Nudes

I've finally gotten around to the long overdue double feature of Tom De Carlo photos.

We start the nude portion with this picture by Lon of New York.

Like most of the Tom De Carlo photos in my collection, I have no photographer's name for this one.

It is so off the wall different compared to all the others that I had to include it.

The photo finish quality leaves something to be desired in this one.

Tom, however, does not.

Although it was unattributed, I get a Lon of New York vibe from this photo of Tom De Carlo.

This literally looks like a page from some collector's scrapbook.

Tom looks great of course.

Ending our unattributed superstar series with a full length shot of Tom De Carlo.

Tom is the only model in this group who has not had his own featured day on the blog.

That's unbelievable and an oversight that I plan to remedy soon.
