Vic Seipke

I have a believable Douglas of Detroit attribution for the upper photo
of Vic Seipke, but I don't know who took the lower one.

Douglas of Detroit

That's Joe Marcy (right) with an unknown in this photo Doug Juleff,
aka Douglas of Detroit, made using a black marble column.

Based on the number of photos of him, I'd say that Dick Buckholts was a favorite model of Doug Juleff.  Searches for this model are difficult because I have seen four different spelling of his surname.

Ward Heath

Doug Juleff liked to do overlays and double exposures,
and this picture of Ward Heath is a fine example.

Pete Jacobs

I only have two photos of Pete Jacobs, and this is the clearer of the two.
The musculature is very impressively captured.

Harry Smith

Viewer Gregory C. sent me this impressive photo of Harry Smith.
Thanks, Gregory!

Don Olsen

I recently acquired this photo of Don Olsen, and I was pleased
to have another shot of this consistently good model.

Tom Talbot

Tom Talbot gives us a slight grin in this reclining pose.

Stan Stanczyk

Although not his typical style, several experts have authenticated
that Doug Juleff took this photo of Stan Stanczyk.

Jerry Schemansky

This heavily oiled model is Jerry Schemansky, brother
of Olympic medalist weightlifter Norbert Schemansky.

Al Walch

Bill Hooper

Although I already had a few photos of Bill Hooper by Douglas of Detroit,
I like the pose and lighting better in this recent acquisition.

Gene Staggs

This photo of Gene Staggs by Doug Juleff, aka Douglas of Detroit, survived the infamous Detroit police raid of 1958.  This sort of repression is worth mentioning again in these challenging times.

Earl Kirk

There's a better than even chance that at one time there were more photos of Earl Kirk by Doug Juleff, aka Douglas of Detroit.  Many of Mr. Juleff's prints and negatives were destroyed by the Detroit police, so a large portion of his work was lost.  The lighting here is amazing.

Vim

This Vim cover is from 1955, and Vic Seipke had a full section of photos inside.
They were by Douglas of Detroit, and one is shown below.
