In the grass

This reclining nude in the grass was originally left over from
a nature themed series and then left over from a leftover set.

Men in Nature

For Saturday, I've put together a short series of men in natural settings.
We start with a model I would like to see more of.

Crupi

Initially, I thought this was a von Gloeden photo, but a Google Images search indicated that it was taken in 1899 by Giovanni Crupi, a friend of v.G.  So now I need to research Mr. Crupi.

Fist shaking

I don't know what this guy is shaking his fist at,
but it doesn't fit in with the rest of his image.

Clifford Baker

I found this photo lurking in a nature related file labeled as by Clifford Baker.  Of course, I wanted to find more of his work and quickly learned that this 1960's photo was cropped from a larger picture that showed a huge expanse of that rock.  I may post the original version in a future Baker series.

German?

Mr. Scumbeast sent this to me labeled only "mountain goat,"
but I suspect that it might be by German photographer Gerhard Riebicke.

Nature Boys

Today's theme is men communing with nature, and we start with a guy
who probably fancied himself to be a spirit guide or some such.

Loving your tree

While he's not hugging that tree, strictly speaking, he does seem to be in love with it.

Lynes

Ralph McWilliams posed for George Platt Lynes in a creek in 1952.

Searching?

This fellow looks as though he might be looking for something.

Ordinary average guy

We close out the nature series with an ordinary guy out for a walk in the woods.

Splendor (and other things) in the Grass . . . or Ain't Nature Grand? - Part 2

Back in May, I posted some photos of men in the grass and put words in their mouths.
Now it's time for Part 2.
"Is that what I think it is?  At least I didn't step in it."
Edited to add:  Read the comment by James IV for some very interesting info on this model, Al Abajian as photographed by Bruce of LA.

"Why does the photographer keep saying "What a bush!" when we're in the tall grass."

"I wonder which of my fake names this publisher will use.  Rusty or Dusty?"
Edited to add:  This is Bobby Kane by RMX according to jsstrand in the comments.  Thanks!

"For 20 bucks all you get is a shot of my keester.  Pecker costs more, lots more."
Edited to add:  James IV says in the comments that this is Art Ullrich by Denny Denfield.

Guy on left says,  "I bet some guy comes along 50 years from now and calls us sluts or trollops."
Guy on right,  "For 50 bucks I don't care.  And besides, this photographer gives fringe benefits."

Splendor (and other things) in the Grass . . . or Ain't Nature Grand?

Today I'm taking Albert's suggestion and putting words in the mouths of some not quite comfortable models in the grass.  (I'm sure some of you can think of other uses for their mouths.)  Says this one:
"I'm fucking miserable.  I got car sick on the way up here, my ass feels like I'm sitting on broken glass, and I can feel things crawling on me.  All this for twenty lousy bucks!"

"First he ties me up.  Next he throws me on this pile of grass, sticks, and rocks and tells
me that he needs to 'arrange things.'  And now he says he's gonna pay me with a check.
What's a guy like me gonna do with a check?"

"Art photography, my ass.  This guy has copped more feels than my biology teacher back in high school.  Aw, shit!  Is that a snake over there by that gopher hole?"

"I've been up partying for three nights, and now this clown photographer wants me to lie down in prickly grass.  At least I got my fifty bucks up front and in my hand."
