Friday Art, Part 2 - the Nudes of John Koch

John Koch (1909-1978) was an American artist who although best known as a New York "society painter" of the well-to-do, was also influential in mid-20th Century Realist circles.  So our Friday night art lesson features the male nudes of John Koch, starting with "The Sculptor" from 1964.

This 1973 John Koch drawing is called "Seated Male Nude."
Are those paint brushes he's holding?

This is a study for a painting which I was never able to find.
Perhaps Koch never finished it, or even started it.

I couldn't find a title for this Koch drawing.

I think someone cropped this from a larger painting . . . possibly because there may be a woman in the other end of the bathtub.  After all, I did find it on a gay website.
Edited to add:  See comment below for link to full painting.
