Party Boys for New Years Eve

New Years Eve is upon us once again,

so we have a series of party goers for the day.

This was one of Mr. Scumbeast's favorites, and he called it:

"Proper decorating is always important in having a successful party."

It's all in the eyes.

The man facing the camera seems bored, but Albert will like the one at center.

This guy looks like he's waiting for a phone call invitation to a party.

In the meantime, he's made a good start on the drinking.

Trio Pyramids

Monday's theme is pyramid trios.  I think that's Bill Grant on the right,

but I don't know the other two or the photographer.  AMG would be my best guess.

I guess if we could only see the package on one

of these guys, they at least showed the right one.

Here's a derriere in the air plus two for the Bum Brigade.

The observer in the rear add interest to this stack of men.

Not the best photo quality in this one,

but the guy at lower left is worth noticing.

Weightlifters, Part 2 - Muscle Beach Men as Weights

Part 2 of our Sunday weightlifting theme features scenes from the 

famous Muscle Beach where men are using other me as workout aids.  That's Doug Draper 

atop Hugo Labria.  Let that image take your dirty mind wherever.  It works for me.

I wish we had some photos of this scene taken from some different angles

This looks like it could have been a lot of fun with some minor rearrangements.

I can't tell if this is a human weight exercise or a stunt.

Weightlifters, Part 1 - Nude men with barbells

Sunday's theme is weightlifters, and we start with this 

Bob Mizer/AMG photo of an unknown (at least to me) model.

I have a collection of Butch magazine photos from vintage 

resale sites, but I found this one on a now gone tumblr.

There are surprisingly few derriere photos of weightlifters, 

and this is the best in my collection.

This is supposed to be Barry Dishman,

but I have no idea where I got this photo.

These two seem to have more going on that an weight training session.

Urban Nudity

Today we see an assortment of urban nude scenes.  

This was some sort of 70's festival.  Gay Pride?

I think these are streakers from 1974.

It must have been a cold day in this city.

I'm not sure the underwear around the ankles look is good for him,

but he seems to be making some sort  of point.

This guy seems to have ditched his clothes in an urban park.

Sculptural, Part 2 - the Statues

Our Friday art features some Classical sculptures, beginning with this from the 2nd Century B.C.

Youthful Hercules was sculpted in about 50 A.D.

It's easy to focus on the glutes in this one, but those other muscles are amazing, too.

In our second Hercules statue of the day we see an older version (in plaster?) having a pee.

This is Ares as displayed in the Louvre.

Sculptural, Part 1 - Physique Models

Today's theme is sculpture, both the human and stone kind.  We start with a series of photographs by unknown (to me, anyway) photographers.  This model is Art Ullrich.

Here we have a rather statuesque Benny Baumann, photographer unknown.

This is a different take on Rodin's "The Thinker."

This is a very muscular and sculptural George O'Mara, photographer unknown.

Yes, that's a dagger he's holding, but I'm sure there's a statue of a guy with a dagger somewhere.

Horsing around with the cavalry

Today's theme is military men and their horses.  

These German soldiers are getting a bath along with their horses.

We can barely see the horse in this one, but the man is visible.

This wide angle shot show a lot of rumps.

More Germans wrangling horses in the nude.

This is Marshall Carl Gustav Mannerheim, Commander in Chief of the Finnish Armed Forces.

I suppose he was like most Finns and didn't mind getting naked,

 in this case on a horse in front of a camera.

Christmas, G-rated

Our Wednesday lagniappe G-rated series features some Christmas items.

Mel Fortune from 1958.

Not that the men aren't nice, but I wish more of the old TV were visible.

No, I haven't a clue as to what's going on here.

Quartets

Today we look at some quartets, starting with these guys on Bob Mizer's roof 

who appear ready to rumble . . . or fumble more likely.

This quartet appeared in a whole series of different poses,

and maybe someday I'll show them all at once.
Edited to add:  From the cham_cham's comment:The last guy's name is Joe Petricelli.  The third (from front) is Jack Renio and the 2nd is Jim Horn (I think).

The shadow is all wrong, and we can see the abortive cropping marks that wouldn't have helped, 

but this is the best I could do for a derriere quartet photo.

I think these guys are supposed to be jumping up and down in unison, but one is out of sync.

Hands up!  Did the police raid a Bob Mizer shooting session on the AMG roof?
