Affectionate Trio

These three men are Jean-Baptiste Pigny, architect; Charles Gounod, composer; 

and Edouard Dubufe, artist.  I do not know the photographer's name.

These beefy guys are enjoying a round of arm wrestling.

The two at left seem detached from the fellow about to dive in the lake.

These three are Don Hawksley, Juwa LaVonce, and Howard Heidtmann 

as photographed by Bob Mizer in 1961.  

 

Adolf Koch

These three are from Adolf Koch's 1929 book, the title of which

translates as Nudity, Body Culture, and Education.

The photographer was anonymous.

 

Bororo

These fishermen are Bororo people whose home is on the Brazil-Bolivia border.

According to recent reports, they have done better than most indigenous

folk of that region in terms of cultural preservation.

 

Very white

Our second trio of the day was labeled simply "Football."

Google Images search was no help at all.

 

Only a hunch

This one is all over the internet in both color and black and white, but no one seems 

to know who they are.  My own hunch is that they are Wyngate & Bevins models.

 The two men at each end of this unknown trio seem way more comfortable than the guy 

in the middle. Also they way their hands are clasped seems awkward.
