"Bizarre Nudes"
Larry and I both had this one in our collections, but my version had no information.
Larry was, as is typical with him, able to find out that it was a French
postcard from 1900 in a series labeled "Bizarre Nudes."

This guy always looks familiar. But that was a popular look in France at that time. Inspiring.

DeleteIsn't he the guy that was also a policeman? I've seen his photos and his name before, but I can't remember where or when.
ReplyDeleteYou may be thinking of Doyen Parigot, a French military officer who was also an athlete and posed nude.aroung 1900.
