All my notes say about this guy is that he was "John, aka Black Stud."
I can't tell if the sofa is cream colored or the pattern just bleached out from the flash.
LOL! The whale reference seems appropriate. My favorite Seinfeld bit was when Jerry and George explained to Elaine that cold made men's packages smaller, and she said, "Really? I don't see how you guys can walk around with those things."
It was a cream color. 1985, I think.
