Military Day
It's time for another military set, and we start with a World War I era American shower.
The two men in the background seem to be quite intently watching . . . and enjoying it.
The "shower bath" as it was called then, really got started as feature of American domestic bathrooms after WW I, when many men used them in the military and found they found they preferred it to to the traditional tub-Dee Exx
True. They started to regularly appear in new construction and retrofits in the 1920s, and they really took off after WWII. By the 50s, they were installed in most new homes.
Wow, those two guys watching really are enjoying it. And so am I. Nice one.
