You should know my fondness for photos from the turn of the 20th Century by now, and today we will look at two lesser known German nude male photographers from that era, Heinrich Eickmann and Alfred Fiedler. I have less than a dozen images by either of these, so if anyone has more, please contact me. We start with Eickmann's Akte and a model who looks familiar.
Is it just me, or is the lighting here very well done?
ReplyDeleteIt's good for the time.
DeleteAh, that excellent tache. Simple but effective pose. Superb drapery. And ace lighting.
ReplyDeleteYes, a "Kaiser Bill" from the side. The qualities you mention are why I yearn for more work by Eickmann.
