Mick Belloucy

The rocky landscape and scrubby trees in this photo of Mick Belloucy
are classic elements of Jean Ferrero's Mediterranean style.

  1. Adonis aux Calanques.
So many fine images of men came from the photo studio of Ferrero on the Boulevard Sainte Agathe in Nice. In 1958 he opened his studio, and then as classic physique photography was overtaken by the explicit, in 1972 Ferrero transformed the studio into an art gallery featuring local artists of Nice and artists of New Realisme.
Ferrero was also a serious art collecter and generously donated many works to the city of Nice.
The dear man is still with us :)
Merci beaucoup for presenting the work of Ferrero :) ✨

    1. You're welcome. Mr. Ferrero was quite wise to refocus his business when he did. The deluge of crass male nude photographey cheapened the genre
