  1. Great insight from Mizer, explaining the dilemma he faced with the distribution of PP.

  2. Similar to "Boys in the Band," you can't view his films with a 2020's mentality. They seem rather silly to me, but I have to bear in mind that they were produced when I was born, and we've evolved since the mid-60's!

It was probably the first time MOST men saw men together sexually, and he deserves recognition for being. a pioneer. 🙏🏽🏆🥰🥳

    1. This was published shortly after the floodgates opened in terms of full frontal male nudity in publications. I'm going to be a devil's advocate here and say that the quality of the models and the photos was better when it was all underground. We went from bodybuilders and athletes to any guy willing to drop his pants in front of a camera. Things got crass and vulgar in a hurry, and a the character level of the models took a huge drop. A lot of great photographers such as Danny Fitzgerald of Les Demi Dieus and Dave Martin quit rather than join the race to the bottom. The arrival of artistic explicit photographers such as Jim French, Roy Dean, Jack Mitchell, and Roy Blakey saved us from the inundation of rubbish.

  4. Yes, I totally agree. Glad that we were saved from some of the vulgarity by the modern-age photographers! 🥰🙏🏽
