Hoffman


This nice semi-nude of Bob Ireland among rocks is by Hoffman of Edinburgh.

  1. More Scottish granite from Mr Hoffman. I wonder if he shot up on Arthur's Seat in Holyrood Park - although that would have been rather risky for nude photography back then.

    1. Well, Mr. Hoffman did do some photos of men in trunks, so Arthur's Seat is not entirely out of the question. Even so, he might have gotten some disapproving looks from passersby.

    1. During the Industrial Revolution (and long before Ireland's independence) a lot of Irish moved to Glasgow for jobs in the factories.

    3. There has been migration between the two countries for millennia. The name of Scotland comes from the Scoti, an Irish tribe of Celts who moved there.
