There has been a recent uptick in the number of vintage physique nudes available on resale websites, and among them have been some photos by Fred Kovert. It's generally accepted that Mr. Kovert didn't actually take most of the photos, but provided artistic direction instead. We start the show with an unknown model who seems to be using a curtain rod as a staff.
A touch of The Shadow on his right thigh. I'll take what I can get! Lol.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous pose. Far more than the standard "man with a pole" style. The image gives hints of the model's vascular development, which is always of added interest. I've posed with a curtain rod too....
ReplyDeleteThe more I look at this one, the more I like it. I would never think of a curtain rod as a standard prop on my own, but I've seen it many times, and now you ever give a modern reference.
