  1. Gee Samson, what muscles! This is an absolutely incredible image. The pose, the lighting and, er, the muscles!

    1. Yet more proof of Don Whitman's genius, indoors this time.

  2. Another day of sheer excellence! These photographers were all right on top of their game. I don't think I can find a favourite today. Only Cole Porter's genius can sum it up...

    You're the top!
    You're the Coliseum.
    You're the top!
    You're the Louvre Museum.
You're a melody from a symphony by Strauss
    You're a Bendel bonnet,
    A Shakespeare's sonnet,
    You're Mickey Mouse.
    You're the Nile,
    You're the Tower of Pisa,
You're the smile on the Mona Lisa
    I'm a worthless check, a total wreck, a flop,
But if, baby, I'm the bottom you're the top!

    1. Thanks for the compliment! I had to look up Henri Bendel, btw.

  3. Great series, Jerry. Twelve photographers that excelled in their work. Impossible - and pointless really - trying to pick a favourite as all produced work of such a high standard. Looking forward to the Europeans next.
