Steve Rally is one of the rare Playgirl models who went on to have some success in movies and TV.
He appeared no less than three times in the magazine between 1983 and 1985, with the above photo being one of the early ones. Years later he played a cowboy, below.
Steve was also one of the first to pose standing with a full mast erection. Before that erections were often “disguised” by laying across the guy’s belly while he posed on his back.
ReplyDeletePlaygirl was my only connection to my sexuality as a gay teen in a small Southern town….so I pored over every issue that I could swipe until I found a quickie-mart that would sell it to an underage customer.I presume all these years later that the clerk was queer and sympathetic to my situation.
You were lucky in more ways than one. In a lot of small Southern towns they wouldn't have sold Playgirl at all back then.
