1980s Playgirl, Part 1 - Executive Men
Posting a two parter today of 1980s Playgirl material. Part one features an April, 1982 photo spread called "Executive Men," while part two is assorted 80s. We begin with Steven Gunn.
Playgirl mirrored Playboy when it came to their models, beautiful women and handsome men. For me Playgirl was pedestrian in it's approach. It didn't do it for me as it did others.
I know what you mean. PG succeeded mainly because they were doing something almost no one else was doing, at least at first. They never included real journalism or impactful articles like Playboy.
Playgirl was my first time seeing a picture of a naked man. It was in the late 70s. I was 7 or 8. Someone hid it behind the comic books in a supermarket. I found it and got an instant boner. Explains a lot. bns
I’ve always found this photo such a turn on. I was 22 and just out when I first saw it in ‘82.
ReplyDeleteReally? What month? I'd like to see the entire spread.
DeleteApril.
