Great set and perfect closer. I know we’re critical of the body oil, but I think it reflects light in a way that makes the men look “glowing” or pop out from the background, which says a lot about Kovert’s feelings about the male nude figure…also, it’s a standard practice in bodybuilding to highlight definition. I’m fascinated with the whole ritual of oiling up. It reminds me of Turkish wrestlers. Even if the intentions aren’t sexual, there’s a sensuality to it. Where do I sign up? bns
Poverty must have interests in the oil industry. Was it baby oil?
ReplyDeleteEarly on, a vairety of cooking oils (often olive) were used, but baby oil came to dominate over time. A few guys added drops of iodine for a fake tan.
