The rest of this piece wasn't as good as the opener.
I didn't realize that Speedos were around in '80! (I know they were in Italy, I was there in '78! The Italians gave me and my brother weird looks b/c we were wearing the typical baggy boys' suits). 😖
Speedos have been around since several Australian swimmers wore them in the 1956 Olympics. This one (or its tan lines, lol) looks even skimpier than a Speedo.
