Georges Demeny
Georges Demeny was an associate and assistant of E.J. Marey who did some good solo work
as well. The gymnast on the horizontal bar was recorded by Mr. Demeny in 1906.
Some wonderful examples of his work here. I have the book Picturing Time by Marta Braun an excellent study of his pioneering techniques. Fascinating to read and view. Thanks Jerry.
Unbelievable! Given the level of technology in those days, this and the others are just remarkable.
ReplyDelete1906… Just WOW.
