Peekaboo II
Here's another peekaboo shot that I like even better than the first one in today's set.
I think that is a classic 1940s jukebox the model is sitting on.
GPL had chronic financial problems, having relocated to the west coast at one point to try to make money photographing movie stars. I'm not saying he couldn't have owned the jukebox, but I think he may have shot this on location.
Well, I did some research and found out that GPL did indeed own that jukebox. He apparenlty bought it during the period in which he was the most successful fashion photographer in NYC, so he would have had the money at that point.
