All male class
I'm not sure if this is an all male drawing class or installation art.
I wonder if this isn't a modeling class. The naked man must be an experienced model. When I see the other men and their interest in the nude model, I think they'll soon be posing nude for an academy. I think posing for hours in front of artists isn't something you can just wing, especially in the big academies. That said, this photo is my favorite of the day!
My first reaction was "What a bod!", thereby making clear that I grew up in the seventies. My second thought was that one possibility for the iconography is that of Christ at the Column. What a bod!

DeleteI'd never even considered "modeling school" for men! I do, however, recall the Barbizon School (for women) in the late 70s!
