Mystery
I found this online in a small collection of photos labeled as anatomical,
but they looked more artistic than those usually do.
This photo was made from a glass lantern slide (a 19th century invention) circa 1880, Germany. I have 5 additional photos in this series. Apparently, they were used in medical schools to show the muscle groups.
