Familiar
The model here looks familiar, but neither I nor Google seems to have a name for him.
Bel homme désirable. Desbonnet as photographer, good results given the photo technology of that time. Thus the impetus to improve caméras and photo technology.
I just did some more looking and found him among a group of what appear to be Desbonnet produced stereopticon images.. Unfortunately, the scans of the pictures are so poor that I've never posted any of them, and he is not named. (He was just barely recognizable.) I've been looking for better scans of those stereo images for 10 years, and have only found two, neither of which feature this guy.

He does look familiar. Whoever he is he's the total package.
