Soldier?
Ending the set with a photo that may be one of Prof. Desbonnet's studies of soldiers.
The stance fits with that, but the main attraction is that package.
Probably coincidence, but there are at least half a dozen photos that appear to have been made during the same session as this one, and most of them have noteworthy low hangers.
