Gene Stanley
A classic bayside location frames Gene Stanley in our final photo of the day.
thanks, these were fun. Do you suppose it was easier to get these shots without look-loo's, b/c there were so fewer people back then? (even in the Bay Area).
I recall reading somewhere that Dave Martin used some locations that were fairly scenic, but not on the usual circuit of such. Of course the Golden Gate Bridge would be well frequented, but happily there was (and is) a nude beach at the base of it.
Well, built, well hung, and nicely posed...a great shot! Thanks for yet another great posting, Jerry.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome.
DeleteThe best for last. Stanley was a USN bodybuilder when Martin discovered him in 1953….:)
ReplyDeleteNot surprising.

DeleteDave was an excellent photographer, aside from his studio work, he did some remarkable location shots. Thanks Jerry.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome, Pat.
DeleteAnother awesome set! Martin had a great eye for models, best poses for them, and catching the light. Set a high bar. bns
