Richard Andrieu
Mr. Richard Andrieu won a medal for his hard work and physical development.
His pride shines through in this beautiful photograph, and I can't think
of a better way to conclude our La Culture Physique series.
I can't tell. Could have been either way. There were plenty of photographers around at the time who would have gone fully nude, but he could not have appeared that way in the magazine.
Was this cropped to hide his groin, or was the shot just aimed above it?
