ReplyDeleteI’m surprised many did not consider Platt Lynes to be part of the canon of photography. Even more surprised that many photography experts did not know who he was !
I first knew of Platt Lynes as a youth when I checked out a book at the local library. That book, The Encyclopedia of Photography, had mini bios of many photographers, including Platt Lynes. His entry included a portrait of himself and an image of a near nude youth emerging from a tree branch, part of Platt Lynes myth series of photos….:)
